During the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha elections that were held the year 2013 Arun Vora, Congress candidate won the election. The sculptor of Arun Vora’s winning was Rajeev Vora.

In this way, Mr. Rajeev Vora, the son of an esteemed Journalist Mr
Govindlal Vora followed his father’s legacy and hence was a great
supporter too who helped his brother to win the election in Durg Vidhan
Sabha, 2013. This showed his strong determination towards family
bonding and togetherness.

journalist Mr. Govindlal Vora, inherited his all rounder qualities from
his father with regard to media, education, social service, and

being an integral part of the society as it helps us in knowing what are
the current happenings in the world through various print media like
newspaper, magazine and the recent internet media like blogs, articles,
social media, etc.
So, the major contribution to our Indian journalism was from journalist Mr. Govindlal Vora who is considered as the Epitome of Journalism. He was always admired by his family, companions, various authors and politicians.During his early days(young) days of journalism, whenever he had foreign trips, his friends, his family including most importantly his brother Mr. Motilal Vora, wife Prakash Vora and children used to welcome him after his return.

He has also worked with the author Mr. Jainendra Kumar. From his young age he was very keen about things wherein he was observing the establishment work with CM Ravishankar Shukla. Although born and brought up in India, he has been known internationally
for his reporting phenomena. He has been to many countries like
America, Britain, Russia, France, Greece, etc. He had been in Paris for
G-20 summit with the former Prime Minister of France. His last foreign
trip was with former Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh where he met the
former president of USA Mr. Barack Obama. Mr. Vora was an enthusiast,
curious and observant which made him be the best journalist in the
Indian history. He always had a keen approach to various things
happening in various places which made him remarkable globally. He is no
more with us but will be forever present in the history of Journalism!
Apart from
being an esteemed journalist and distinguished writer, Govindlal Vora
had the hidden talent of photography. Time and again he proved his
photography skills by capturing historical moments. He believed in
covering his stories to the extreme depth and analyzing every aspect of
it, hence he preferred doing photography himself.
He
captured many important political activities such as speeches,
conferences organized and events attended by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru,
Indira Gandhi, Pt. Govind Vallabh Pant and other political leaders. He
never missed on any moment and presented the news with due credibility.

accompanied a foreign lady journalist Heli Prince in the dense forest to
capture the hunting of wild tiger.

Govindlal Vora was an enthusiastic photographer, an esteemed journalist,
a dedicated socialist and a passionate philanthropist. His passing away
in 2018 has been a catharsis for the journalism community and a loss to
the humankind.
While the
veteran journalist Govindlal Vora is known for his fearless and unbiased
journalism, his integral personality was of a philanthropist. The
quality and success of his journalism was the result of his urge to work
to towards the betterment of society and upliftment of the human race,
along with his passion for writing.
Before leaving this world in 2018, Govindlal Vora actively and dedicatedly participated in every endeavor working for the social causes. Apart from the social institutions, he was an esteemed lifetime member of the Rotary International Club. Apart from being the District Governor, he held many positions of power in the Rotary Club.

As he was an unbiased and fearless journalist, Govindlal Vora never
shied away from addressing the issues and openly put forward his ideas
& solutions. He provided his undivided attention to social and
philanthropic work as a member of the Rotary Club. His contributions are
remembered till this day by the common populace. He ruled the hearts of
people.
You must be kidding when you question Govind Lal Voraassociated with which field? The time was dark when almost a year ago on May 14, 2018, Govind Lal Vora bid adieu forever. Suffering from pneumonia and breathing-related issues, Vora rode a very prestigious journey till the end. Even though with a political background, he chose to be a journalist and nailed it. With almost 6 decades of experience and working for the Hindi daily “Amrit Sandesh” for more than 3 decades, he did had a lasting impression on everybody.

not any exemption. And people always loved it, as far as it does not

Govind Lal Vora was a well-known name in journalism in the country. We cannot avoid the sad truth of losing him due to pneumonia on May 14, 2018. Though it has been a year for this tragic event, Govindlal Vora will be always remembered as proficient and sophisticated legend of journalism industry. Being the younger brother of Motilal Vora — AICC treasurer as well as Congress Rajya Sabha MP — and uncle of Arun Vora — Congress MLA from Durg constituency and Father of Rajeev Vora — -Delegate AICC — Vora defined his strong political background.

The country lost a fearless journalist, a great writer, thinker, philosopher, social worker, and educationist Govindlal Vora on 13th May 2018 at New Delhi after suffering from Pneumonia and breathing-related problems. The passion for writing and vision for working towards social upliftment, encouraged him to highlight the true picture of the society. His contributions to the journalism are immeasurable.

decades of fearless and unbiased journalism has not only earned him
respect but also introduced the state of Chhattisgarh to the world.
Imagining Chhattisgarh’s journalism without his leadership is a hard nut
to crack. He was integral member of many associations working towards
the wellbeing and betterment of journalists. Govindlal Vora was the
driving force behind the foundation of Raipur Press Club. He believed
that the young journalists needed to develop strong principles and
should adopt an honest approach in covering any news, issue or event. He
wanted the journalists to meet and discuss new ideas to empower the
national journalism.
Nothing
stayed untouched by Govindlal Vora. He was the Director of the
Chhattisgarh Hindi Literature Convention. He also encouraged the
foundation of the press community at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University.
In parallel, he stayed an active member in many social institutions like
’Gram Seva Samiti’ and ‘Krishi Gaurakshini’ which operated on the
principles and visions of Mahatma Gandhi.
It
will not be overstatement to say that every aspect of society was
touched and improved by Govindlal Vora. He was a gem and his
contributions towards journalism and society are transcendental.
