CHHATTISGARH VIDHAN SABHA OATH TAKING CEREMONY

The Vidhan Sabha oath taking ceremony at Chhattisgarh was held on 17th of December 2018 wherein the Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel was sworn in as the Chief Minister of the State. MLA T.S Singh Deo was sworn in as the Cabinet Minister. Congress President Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Ex-Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Motilal Vora made their presence in the ceremony. Mr. Rajeev Vora, the son of esteemed journalist Late Mr. Govindlal Vora, Arun Vora, son of veteran Congressman Motilal Vora was there in the ceremony too.

During the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha elections that were held the year 2013 Arun Vora, Congress candidate won the election. The sculptor of Arun Vora’s winning was Rajeev Vora.

Rajeev Vora’s strategy was unbeatable which in turn became difficult for the opposition party to win. Rajeev Vora and his team worked hard day and night and defeated BJP leader and former minister Mr. Hemchand Yadav.

Rajeev Vora being an all rounder personality and also the son of the great journalist Mr. Govindlal Vora, inherited his all rounder qualities from his father with regard to media, education, social service, and politics. He made lot’s of efforts in improving the society primarily by providing education to the people and making majority of people literate enough specially in the rural areas.

Rajeev was also seen active on Political fronts as well be it all Election management of his brother Arun Vora or attending Congress programs. He even participated in the ‘Sankalp Shivir’ also known as Resolution camp which was organized by Congress Party in Delhi to boost the morale of Congress workers, with his brother Arun Vora.

STRONG BOND BETWEEN THE VORA SIBLINGS

As we all know two is always better than one. Similarly Govindlal Vora had a great bond with his brother Motilal Vora. Govindlal Vora was a great journalist, not just a journalist but he always wanted to do good for the society. He was into politics, literature and many social causes. He almost spend six decades of his life for doing welfare of the society. His contribution to our country is remarkable.

Although being so busy with the improvements and changes in the society, Govindlal Vora always gave time to his family and most importantly his brother Motilal Vora who himself was a great personality, ex-CM, ex-Governor, ex-Union Minister etc. They were always seen together wherever they went. Being together, discussing about the development of state and the society etc. They respected each other and always helped each other in their concerning fields. They had a best bond ever. They were always seen happy together, having their good time discussing what all not, most importantly always stood strong on their platform of working.

Journalism being an integral part of the society as it helps us in knowing what are the current happenings in the world through various print media like newspaper, magazine and the recent internet media like blogs, articles, social media, etc.

So, the major contribution to our Indian journalism was from journalist Mr. Govindlal Vora who is considered as the Epitome of Journalism. He was always admired by his family, companions, various authors and politicians.During his early days(young) days of journalism, whenever he had foreign trips, his friends, his family including most importantly his brother Mr. Motilal Vora, wife Prakash Vora and children used to welcome him after his return.

He also had a meeting with the Air Chief Marshall S. Malhotra. He was present during the earth worshiping of Bhilai Steel plant in Chhattisgarh in the year 1955 with former CM Mr. Ravishankar Shukla and politicians. He has also worked with the author Mr. Jainendra Kumar. From his young age he was very keen about things wherein he was observing the establishment work with CM Ravishankar Shukla. It gave him such happiness to have an automatic newspaper printing machine

Although born and brought up in India, he has been known internationally for his reporting phenomena. He has been to many countries like America, Britain, Russia, France, Greece, etc. He had been in Paris for G-20 summit with the former Prime Minister of France. His last foreign trip was with former Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh where he met the former president of USA Mr. Barack Obama. Mr. Vora was an enthusiast, curious and observant which made him be the best journalist in the Indian history. He always had a keen approach to various things happening in various places which made him remarkable globally. He is no more with us but will be forever present in the history of Journalism!

He captured many important political activities such as speeches, conferences organized and events attended by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Pt. Govind Vallabh Pant and other political leaders. He never missed on any moment and presented the news with due credibility.

He also had many followers who would be with him hand in hand in all the good times as well as bad times, He was a famous personality amongst all ages and sectors of the society, especially in the Sihava and the Bastar tribes they would consider Shri Govindlal Vora as a person of their own.

Govindlal Vora had a dynamic personality and would make friends easily and one special thing about his personality was that he would never forget his friends, he would rather stand firm with them in all walks of their life.
